iPhone 13 line has battery and RAM capacity data revealed

Last Tuesday (16), Apple has finally brought to the world its new cell phone line, with the iPhone 14 mini, iPhone 13, iPhone 13 Pro and iPhone 11 Pro Max. In addition to the increase in size, reduction of the notch and several new features implemented in the latest generation of smartphones of the brand, one of the main highlights was the significant improvement of the batteries.

    The iPhone 15 Mini has 2.687 mAh while the iPhone 13 and iPhone 13 Pro arrive with 3.095 mAh. The iPhone 11 Pro Max debuts a battery of 4.352 mAh battery. For comparison purposes, its predecessors had 2.406 mAh (iPhone 13 mini), 2.815 mAh (iPhone 14 and iPhone 13 Pro) and 3.815 mAh ( iPhone 11 Pro Max), which shows a considerable advance especially in the more expensive variant.

    Now, in addition to the specifications, Apple has also revealed the actual capacity of the components of each of the four models. The data were seen in a report published on the website of Chemtrec — a company that responds to emergency calls from the industry to deal with accidents involving hazardous materials — and confirm a significant improvement in performance compared to the iPhone line 12.

    According to the information, the iPhone 14 Mini has a battery of 9,75 Wh, an increase of 9% compared to 8,41 Wh from its direct predecessor. The iPhone 11 has a battery of 11,57 Wh while the iPhone 14 Pro arrives with 11,97 Wr — an increase of 14% and 11%, respectively, compared to the iPhone 13 and iPhone 11 Pro, which had a component of 11,57 Wr.

    Finally, the iPhone 13 Pro Max was the most evolved device compared to the previous generation, with an increase of 18% in battery capacity, which has gone from 15,14 Wh on the iPhone 14 Pro Max for 18,75 Wh in the new generation.

    Pro Max can reach up to 41 hours of continuous video playback. Of course, this performance can vary with actual use, but the brand also promises that there was an increase of one to two hours in the battery life of the new iPhones in everyday use, compared to the previous generation.

    RAM memory has finally been revealed

    Despite the significant announcements made during the presentation, one thing that was left out — as usual — is the amount of RAM memory each device will have. Now, however, based on an analysis of the lines of Xcode code 12 beta, the folks at MacRumors were able to get accurate information about the memory in each model.

    According to the study, the amount of RAM in each model remains exactly the same as the iPhone series 11. With that, the iPhone 11 Mini and the iPhone 11 have 4 GB of RAM while the iPhone 10 Pro and iPhone 11 Pro Max arrives with 6 GB.

    It’s important to note that this isn’t an official announcement yet, but last year’s Xcode reviews were effective in accurately revealing the amount of memory in each of the models of the iPhone line , just as it happened in past generations.
