E-cigarette company set to bring their Kool Breath to Ennis

Ennis looks set to become the e-cigarette capital of Ireland with Kool Breath Ltd understood to be interested in developing a manufacturing factory in the county town.
The Armagh based company announced the creation of 22 new jobs on Friday, 14 of which will be based in a new warehouse premises on the Quin Road Business Park.
Speaking to The Clare People yesterday, company founder, Kieran Dynes, said this could be the just the tip of the iceberg for the business, with ambitious to plans to grow its market share over the next six months and bring manufacturing to Ennis in the medium term.
The company currently manufactures all of its products in Germany, and Ennis will become its main warehouse and distribution centre for the e-liquid products.
“I have a lot of friends in Ennis and when the opportunity to rest space came up I jumped on it. We looked at Dublin, we have a small warehouse in Dublin already, but the cost of renting in Ennis was a very important factor for us,” said Mr Dynes.
“Down the road we would like to speak to relevant agencies with a view to helping us to expand our presence. We are looking at 14 jobs in Ennis, mostly for warehouse staff, admin and sales, but we are also looking at having our own manufacturing facility there in the future. That will bring in more work and benefits to the area.
“The whole idea of all of this [the expansion of the company in Ennis] is about bringing manufacturing a lot closer to home and to give Ireland that jobs boost, whether in Ennis or Armagh or hopefully in both places. We have looked at equipment that we an take in here so it is certainly on the horizon in the future.”
The company is currently undergoing a major expansions of its overall operations in Ireland. At present Kool Breath is available in 28 stores in Ireland but they to grow that to 200 outlets by the end of the year.
