POLL: Which candidate will you be voting for in the upcoming General Election

With the candidate list for next year’s General Election starting to take shape, The Clare People is hosting it’s first in a series of online candidates poll. While just five candidates are officially in the running so far, Timmy Dooley [FF], Gerry Flynn [IND], Roisin Garvey [GP], Michael McDonagh [FF] and Noeleen Moran [SF], a further four are almost certain to contest the election, namely Pat Breen [FG], Joe Carey [FG], Michael McNamara [LAB/IND], Tony Mulcahy [FG].
Added to this list are James Breen [IND], Clare Colleran Molloy [FF], Martin Conway [FG], Mary Howard [FG] and Ann Norton [IND] who are all likely candidates as well as the Anti Austerity Alliance, FIS NUA, and RENUA Candidate who are all expected to field a candidate.

Poll is now closed. Analysis in tomorrow’s Clare People.

  1. Tony all the way. Best person for the job. Great worker, very honest, good friend and man of principle.

  2. Please note Ian Lynch is not Fg as indicated. Ian is independent – this is causing great confusion. Apologies to my supporters wondering what is going on
