Genworth’s €15 million Shannon investment to be unveiled on Monday

Shannon based company Genworth say their €15 million investment at Westpark in Shannon will give them the capacity to expand in the area in the future.
An Taoiseach, Enda Kenny (FG), will be in Shannon next Monday, November 24, to officially open the company’s new state-of-the-art facility.
A company spokesperson told The Clare People today, that the investment is a sign of the long-term commitment of the company to Clare and to its 400 Shannon based employees.
“This is about Genworth’s long-term commitment to the region with a €15m investment in a new state-of-the-art, hi-spec business centre in Shannon. All current Genworth staff, nearly 400, have moved to the new Shannon facility in Westpark. This move gives us the capacity to meet future business needs,” said a spokesperson.
The Shannon based business centre currently supports the needs of more then nine million customers around the globe.
