Teatime surge at the polling stations

The average turn out for the Seanad and Court of Appeal referenda in Clare is now at 29%. All polling stations report a teatime surge in numbers voting and expect it to be quiet after 9pm as people stay in to watch the Clare hurling team on the Late Late Show.
Clarecastle (NS) has a turn out of 28.1%; Ennis (CBS) is at 29.42%; Killaloe (NS) is at 30.64%; Kilnamona is at 30.7%; Kilrush (St Senan’s) is 26.15%; Lisdoonvarna is at 30%; Meelick (NS) is at 27.6%; Miltown Malbay is at 28.4%; Shannon (St. Conaire’s) is at 29.3% and Tulla is at 28.3%.
