Fears have been expressed that people from some of the most notorious housing estates in Limerick city are being relocated to Clare, without being asked to comply with the same level of conditions expected under a major regeneration programme. Limerick City Council told The Clare People that it has bought 17 houses in Clare. A spokesperson for the council confirmed that the houses were bought within the past two years.
