The Irish Government is legitimising and indirectly funding the work of extremist Muslim groups based in Dublin. That is the opinion of Dr Shaheed Satardien, Chairperson of the European Muslim Council for Justice Peace and Equality, who spoke at the Burren Law School over the weekend. Dr Satardien claimed that the Irish Government - through the National Consultative Committee on Racism and Interculturalism (NCCRI) and other organisations - had marginalised moderate Muslims and allowed a group of extremist from the Muslim Brotherhood to dominate over the Muslim community in Ireland. The self-proclaimed creed of the Muslin Brotherhood reads, “Allah is our objective. The Prophet is our leader. Qur’an is our law. Jihad is our way. Dying in the way of Allah is our highest hope.” The group includes Osama bin Laden as one of its members. Registration is required to view this content, registration is FREE |
