THIS comes with a health warning attached – not from the Government or even from the much-maligned Health Services Executive, but from the self-appointed watchdog that is The 19th. Vainglorious or what you may scream from the bleachers. Cocky fecker even. Which or whether, what follows may be of interest to mature women, those interested in mature women, Clare GAA and more particularly how Clare GAA is doing its bit to advocate the availability of, you’ve guessed it, mature women. And, before you mature women out there scream indignation and discrimination before going away and plotting some suffragette-type ‘Direct Action’ against The 19th, please let The 19th point out that there’s going to be nothing in this missive against mature women, or against the availability of mature women. It’s just that where Clare GAA is concerned, there’s a time and a place for everything. Confused? Read on and you’ll realise what mature women and Clare GAA have in common.
