| Glitzy affair in the West County |

Last Sunday night the people of Tulla celebrated their great championship win of 2007 and also, in all probability, ended the partying and socialising from the players’ perspective until at least next October. Almost 500 people attended the West County Inn and there was certainly plenty of glamour and glitz. It was quite clear to me that the people of Tulla are a good-looking crowd! Anthony Daly was special guest, and spoke eloquently and intelligently about days he played against Tulla. He fully acknowledged that their first senior championship victory in 74 years was richly deserved. Other speakers included Michael O’Neill, Clare County Board Chairman and Declan Hogan, the Tulla Chairman. Registration is required to view this content, registration is FREE |
