THE big news story that is sending the nation into fits of apoplectic agony and ecstasy, while simultaneously causing the rolling tickers of 24-hour news channels to go into retina-burning orange alert, and also melting the phones of Liveline, with women from Clontarf re-doubling their efforts to express their muddled and indecisive viewpoints, is that Dustin is going to the Eurovision. The occasion will be historic as he’ll be the first ever puppet to sing at the continental songathon, but as someone who has been advocating for an age now that we dissect Dana to see if she is just made of old pillow fluff and cut-up socks, I naturally have my doubts about that.
