Embarrasing display in Tipperary

I had never been to Ardfinnan in County Tipperary before but Saturday changed all that. A beautiful spot, a great welcome from the locals but a terrible result for the Banner.
Let’s be blunt here. Two played, two losses - we are in a nightmare situation. To pick up yesterday’s papers and see Clare at the bottom of Division 4 just above London and Kilkenny is soul destroying.
In fact, the three counties are all level on zero points but thankfully Clare are placed above the other two purely on an alphabetical basis. In 16 years we have tumbled from Munster Champions and All Ireland Football semi finalists to rock bottom. Have we ever been so low?
