Two wrongs make no right in Cork
Written by Marty Morrissey
The GAA is a great organisation. Think about it. We have the excitement of championship hurling and football from May to September on the playing fields of Ireland.
As it stands, the club scene stretches from February to May and comes back into the sightline in most places from late August to December (which as we have said many times is quite wrong). But let’s not dwell on that today.
If the GAA was essentially a commercially orientated organisation then their television campaign would probably employ the catch-phrase, ”The GAA - Giving You All Year Round Entertainment”.
All the above refers to on field activities but damn it, the GAA are so hot that even off the field they keep us all buzzing and talking in the cold dark months of January and February. Registration is required to view this content, registration is FREE
