THIS is the time when motions to the county board convention have been drafted and put forward for consideration by delegates at their December gathering. The following is The 19th’s contribution from the floor, where football is concerned. It all stems from a conversation over drink a couple of weeks back. Yours truly landed in good company, where the drink flowed and with it came the inevitable talk of the big ball. For a few hours the whole gamut of football emotions were laid bare. Triumph and disaster in unequal measure. Sadly from Clare’s point of view there have been more disasters than triumphs down the years.
