They still continue to fiddle with the symptoms of this problem but are not addressing the cause i.e. run-off from agricultural slurry/septic tanks. A lot of these problems could be overcome by installing reed-bed systems which would not only solve the problem but would, at the same time, improve the habitat of the environment by increasing the local bio-diversity! What are they waiting for - it will cost money, but whatever they have to do is going to anyway!
