A digital marketing network helping businesses, community groups and charitable organisations to build their profile online while improving their digital skills will be launched on Wednesday, January 28, in the Temple Gate Hotel in Ennis at 7pm.
#DigitalClare is the brainchild of Clare Local Development Company (CLDC) and is being launched as part of their Digital Animation Programme. Sue Targett, Programme Manager with CLDC said, “In 2014 we trained 125 people in digital marketing and social media skills and we wanted to harness the interest and engagement and so we decided to form a digital network.
“We launched a Facebook group in June and we now have almost 300 members. We are aiming to reach 500 members by March 31.
CLDC has contracted Joanne Sweeney-Burke of Digital Training Institute to establish the network. The former Apprentice finalist is also delivering digital marketing and social media training and mentoring and she will host a number of networking events over the next 10 weeks to members of the network.
There is no fee to join the group. You simply join the #DigitalClare Group on Facebook and you will be notified of upcoming events.
The special guest for the launch of #DigitalClare is the Tweeting Goddess, Samantha Kelly who has 17,700 followers on Twitter and who published her book ‘Tweet Your Way to Success’ last year.
