CLARE soccer will be represented at a major youth tournament in Waterford at the weekend. Clare teenager Ciarán Buckley will be part of the Munster squad that will contest the 2014 FAI Youth Interprovincial Tournament. The Moher Celtic player is Clare’s sole playing representative on the Munster squad. The Munster squad is managed by Ennis man and former Limerick FC coach Declan Farmer.
Ciarán will be hoping to help Munster to glory over the three-day tournament. The Munster Football Association kick off against the Leinster Football Association in Tramore AFC’s grounds on Friday night (7pm).
The Connacht Football Association will be the opposition for Buckley and Clare in Carrick United’s home grounds on Saturday (2pm). Munster conclude their tournament against Ulster at Ozier Park on Sunday (11am).
