A special fundraiser in aid of the Irish Motor Neurone Disease Association (IMNDA) will take place at the Ennistymon Community Centre this Saturday. The fundraising tea-day is being organised locally by the Flaherty family, and by Patricia Flaherty who was diagnosed with Motor Neurone Disease in 2011.
The ‘tea-day’ will include a large selections of buns, cakes and treats while there will also be a number of prizes on offer through a massive raffle. The IMNDA receives 86 per cent of its funding from local fundraisers like the Ennistymon tea day and it offers a massive support to family coping with motor neurone disease.
The fundraising tea day for the Irish Motor Neuron Disease Association will take place this Saturday at the Ennistymon Community Centre, from 10am to 2pm.
