As part of their eggstra special weekend of fun, Shannon Heritage will begin their Easter fun when the Easter Bunny makes a guest appearance at Craggaunowen. A fun filled afternoon is planned with puppet theater hosted in large rabbit cages decorated for the Easter bunny with eggs and treats, magic shows, bouncy castle, storytelling, face painting and traditional Irish music as well as some delicious Easter Eggs for all to enjoy.
Easter celebrations at Bunratty Castle & Folk Park kick-off on Easter Monday, at 1pm. Back by popular demand are β€œWrestling Warriors on Tour”, American style action which promises entertainment for the whole family. These wrestling superstars have fought the world over.
Visitors to Bunratty Folk Park on the day can also enjoy the Easter festivities in the company of over 20 favourite cartoon characters. Other activities include an Easter bonnet Competition, Easter parade and disco, fire eater, magician and juggler, puppeteer, bouncy castle, face painting and balloon making. A new addition is the fabulous train ride with the Easter Bunny. The Thomas the Tank train was introduced at the Folk Park at Christmas and proved hugely popular with children big and small.
To sweeten the Easter festivities even more Shannon Heritage is offering a special combined €50 two-day family ticket admitting two adults and up to six children to the Craggaunowen event on Easter Sunday, and also the Bunratty Castle & Folk Park extravaganza on Easter Monday, with events on both days running from 1pm to 5pm.
