CLARE is ready for a mini-heatwave, well two days anyway! Temperatures are expected to reach up to 25c this Thursday and Friday with no rain forecast. We should even have some blistering sunshine and heat. The good weather will start to make its way into Clare this Wednesday evening as most of the county makes its way to Cusack Park for the highly anticipated Munster U-21 hurling final between Clare and Tipperary. A crowd of over 10,000 is likely to be on hand for sunshine and (fingers crossed) a second Munster title for Clare at this grade.

In the meantime Lahinch, Kilkee and Spanish Point, indeed all along the West Coast should be busy for two days this week at least as the summer finally makes an appearance.
